Woodhall Spa is a quaint village in the heart of Lincolnshire. It is a popular inland holiday spot for people who enjoy a friendly relaxing village, surrounded by many camping and caravan parks. There are loads of places of interest to visit as well in the surrounding areas as well as a host of restaurants and hotels.

In Victorian England, people used to flock to Woodhall Spa to visit the Spa Baths where the Spa waters were well known for their theraputic properties. The original Spa Baths are located in the woods next to one of the very few Kinema’s left in the country, The Kinema In The Woods. A Kinema differs from a conventoinal Cinema in the way the picture hits the screen. In a Cinema, the picture hits the screen from the front whilst in a Kinema, the picture is projected onto the screen from the rear. Do check it out, It hasn’t changed in 50 years.

People tend to return to Woodhall Spa, year in, year out because of the friendly atmosphere surrounding the village. From the little mini roundabout in the village you visit lincolnshire’s other main towns in a short car drive of 30 minutes.  Lincoln is 25mins away, Boston is 20 mins, Louth is 30 mins and you can get to Skegness in 40 mins.
